Do you mean, a potential example could be:
when I go supermarket shopping and I can’t open a hygiene-wrapper plastic bag because my fingers are too dry?
BUT, if I then apply a small amount of water by first lightly touching say, the damp vegetables first, which I want to purchase, I can then easily prise-apart the two plastic bag surfaces to then insert/wrap the said vegies? The thin film of water has effectively made my fingers adhere better to the plastic bag surfaces …
Question: Without doing any further research myself on the topic, I thought the above process of water-assisted adhesion has been well known for a long time?
